Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Operations Department to maintain, repair, and clean apartment buildings across assigned locations. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager, with duties spanning daily admin tasks, repairs, and coordination with vendors.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, one year of property maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel between properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required (technical training a plus).
• One year of property maintenance responsibilities or similar experience.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
• EPA certification must be obtained within six months of employment (Pennrose provides this certification).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily administrative tasks each morning as assigned by PM or Support Center.
• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed using the company’s maintenance app.
• Assist with turnkey operations including scheduling, painting, cleaning within five business days of move-out.
• Maintain an effective preventive maintenance program.
• Prepare for Owner, Federal, State, and local inspections.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
