Job summary

Pennrose is seeking a Maintenance Technician to be part of the Operations Department, reporting to the Property Manager. You will maintain, repair, and clean apartment buildings across multiple sites, ensuring high standards set by the company and industry.

The role includes administrative duties each morning, vendor coordination, and using the Maintenance app for requests and repairs. It requires travel between properties and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED; technical training certifications a plus.
• One year of property maintenance responsibilities or similar experience.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties.
• EPA certification to be obtained within six months of employment (certificate provided by Pennrose).

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative work each morning (about 30 minutes) as directed by PM or Support Center.
• Schedule vendors, order parts, and review updates and messages.
• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed correctly via the company maintenance app.
• Assist with turnkey operations, including scheduling, punching, painting, and cleaning within five business days of move-out.
• Maintain an effective preventive maintenance program.
