Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Multi-Site Service Technician for Azul at Spectrum & Borrego in Gilbert, AZ. You will maintain communities, perform repairs, and ensure five-star service to residents, supporting make-ready units and on-site care.

The role requires at least 1 year of multifamily maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related trades, plus strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. On-call duties and certifications pay are part of the job.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year of previous Service Technician experience in multifamily property management is required.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and OSHA-related safety standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on positive resident relations and delivering a high level of service.
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work orders, apartment turnovers, and resident needs.

Responsibilities

Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
Perform daily pool care, assures pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys
Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and corrects the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and is readily available to go the property if needed and in uniform/badge.
Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
