Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team across its properties in Washington. You will oversee unit turns, coordinate with leasing staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met daily.

Expect to manage preventive maintenance, vendor relationships, and budgeted purchases while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach to residents and teammates. This position is 100% in-person with some after-hours on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management or equivalent
• 6+ months supervisor experience with leadership skills
• OSHA awareness and safety best practices
• Must supply own tools and have a valid driver's license
• Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair
• Prior experience with warranty work and vendor coordination

Responsibilities

• Oversees and leads maintenance team members
• Performs unit turns and work orders
• Partners with leasing staff to coordinate communication
• Conducts monthly safety meetings and OSHA/SDS compliance
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance
• Maintains property grounds and appearance
• Manages vendors and budget-aligned purchases
• Emergency on-call as required
• Contributes to a positive team culture and resident satisfaction
• Performs additional duties as needed by management
