Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in multicultural environment.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities as described.
• Proficiency in English as required by regulation 487.9.13.
• Experience working with dependent persons preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the personal hygiene and physical well-being of the residents.
• Monitor to assure residents eat meals regularly each day.
• Assist residents in using dining room, participating in activities, and engaging in residence life.
• Escort residents to medical appointments and hospital visits as directed.
• Assist kitchen staff with meal preparation, service, and cleanup.
• Assist housekeeper/porter and participate in laundry and recycling activities.
• Travel for errands to stores, clinics, and offices as directed.
• Monitor safety and security by staffing front desk and interacting with residents respectfully.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and report resident progress and needs.
