Job summary

Theracare INC. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients under physician orders, enhancing speech, language, swallowing, and hearing outcomes.

You’ll work within a therapy team, providing support and information across settings including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, LTCs, or home health care. The role emphasizes collaboration, competency in therapy modalities, and adherence to accreditation standards, with flexible PRN hours across diverse care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state license/certification.
• Prefer 1 year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in SNFs, outpatient facilities, LTCs or home health care.
• Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles and equipment.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, by physician orders, using procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders.
• Work as a member of a team providing support and information within Speech-Language Pathology.
• Provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.
