Job summary

Broadreach Staffing is seeking a Vice President of Operations for a client in the Greater Boston area. This executive will lead multi-site manufacturing operations, owning P&L accountability and driving sustained performance improvements.

The role offers a defined path toward Chief Operating Officer readiness, with influence across CFO, Sales, HR and EVP-level peers. The ideal candidate has hands-on operating leadership and the presence to scale to enterprise-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive manufacturing operations expertise across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated P&L or operating accountability for a major business unit.
• Track record of sustained operational improvements and performance gains.
• Experience leading through leaders and senior cross-functional partners.
• Ability to translate strategy into executable priorities in a matrix organization.
• Comfort collaborating with CFO, Sales, HR and EVP-level peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site operations and functional leadership teams, driving measurable performance improvement.
• Own meaningful P&L and operating accountability for a major business area.
• Lead operating leaders and functional managers, with a demonstrated ability to broaden leadership scope over time.
• Participate actively in enterprise and annual planning, including leading the planning process for your area.
• Translate company strategy into clear, actionable operating priorities.
• Influence effectively across functions and peers in a matrix leadership environment.
• Partner closely with the CFO, Sales, HR, EVPs, and other cross-functional leaders to execute shared priorities.
• Support and grow into a governance role for R&D/innovation and commercialization initiatives.
• Develop managers and operating leaders, building bench strength and succession depth.
