Job summary

AUX Partners is seeking an IT Network Engineer to own network design, administration, security, and reliability across multiple sites. You will manage architecture, configuration, maintenance, circuit procurement, and incident response to keep the network highly available.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routing/switching, and Cisco Meraki wireless across multi-site environments, with a customer-first mindset and strong documentation habits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive network engineering in multi-site enterprise.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, threat prevention.
• Experience with Cisco routers/switches, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, access layer.
• Meraki wireless deployment and multi-site management.
• Circuit ownership, WAN procurement and SLA management.
• Strong security, firewall policy governance, VPN design.
• PCI DSS network requirements, segmentation, audits.
• DNS administration and AD integration with DHCP mgmt.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting for distributed sites.
• Excellent communication and documentation ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own network design, administration, security, and reliability across multiple sites.
• Oversee architecture, configuration, maintenance, circuit management, and incident resolution.
• Serve as internal SME on infrastructure design decisions and policy governance.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical site stakeholders and ensure issue resolution ownership.
• Maintain network diagrams, IPAM, configuration standards, and change records.
