Job summary

First Commonwealth FCU is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for our Allentown area locations. The Member Experience Associate will service members’ basic transactions, promote financial wellness, and guide them through credit solutions while leveraging our engagement model.

You will work across Allentown, Downtown Allentown, and Whitehall locations, with a travel allowance and hourly pay plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing member’s basic transactional needs.
• Earning and maintaining Financial Wellness counselor certification to assist members in realizing their long-term financial goals.
• Utilizing our Member Engagement Model to determine member needs and develop appropriate credit solutions.
• Following up on loan applications and ultimately closing loans.
• Keeping current on FCFCU products and services.
• Utilizing smartphones and tablets to demonstrate alternative banking channels including mobile and online banking.
• Maintaining knowledge of fundamentals of lending, loan documentation and loan compliance (obtain NMLS license).
• Making referrals to Mortgage and Investment specialists.
• Troubleshooting and solving member objections.

As our multi-location Member Experience Associate, you will work in any of our Allentown, Downtown Allentown, and Whitehall locations as needed. Your primary location will be our Allentown Financial Center. There is a generous travel allowance for this position in addition to hourly pay and benefits. Our Financial Center lobby hours are as follows:

Monday-Friday– 9:00am -5:00pm
Saturday - 9:00am – 1:00pm

Your responsibilities will include:
