Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to establish an enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering across multiple U.S. locations. The role spans strategy to execution, with responsibility for governance, KPIs, and cross-functional alignment.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in supply chain leadership (or 10+ with a Master’s), sovereign leadership experience, and ability to travel ~20% in the U.S. and obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive supply chain leadership experience (12+ years with bachelor, 10+ years with master).
• Experience leading multi-site operations or enterprise-level initiatives.
• Strong Materials Management, Warehousing, and inventory control experience.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Leadership: Develop and implement a standardized enterprise operating model for Materials, Warehousing, and Packaging Engineering.
• People, Process, and Technology: Build a high‑performing organization and standardize SOPs, processes, and KPIs.
• Materials and Warehousing: Lead receiving, warehousing, inventory management, material movement, and shipping.
• Packaging Engineering: Provide enterprise leadership for Packaging Engineering and set packaging standards.
• Trade Compliance and Logistics Partnership: Integrate regulatory requirements into Materials/Packaging processes and manage international shipments and HTS classifications.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Programs, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, IT, Finance, and more.
• Leadership Expectations: Lead at enterprise level, drive transformation, mentor leaders, and communicate across senior leadership.
