Qualifications

• Mammo-Specific training with 40 hours documented.
• Documentation of Digital Mammography training.
• BLS and AHA certifications.
• RT/Radiology credentials (ARRT).
• Travel between Jefferson sites may be required.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 40–50 lbs and frequent standing.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs screenings and diagnostic exams.
• Ensures proper patient and breast positioning and sets exposure factors.
• Maintains radiation safety for staff and patients.
• Documents services in patient records.
• Provides patient care and education before, during and after imaging.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
