Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams, screenings and diagnostic studies, and assist during invasive procedures. You will deliver patient care and education before, during and after imaging procedures, while maintaining safety standards.

The role includes operating equipment, ensuring proper positioning, and rotating between Frankford, Torresdale, and Bucks campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Radiology Sciences or ARRT Radiology (R) registry.
• Knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques and image production for screening and diagnosis.
• CPR/BLS and AHA guidelines knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment to produce radiographs for screening and diagnostics.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and exposure factors; explain procedures to patients.
• Provide patient care and education before, during and after procedures.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Document services in patient records and comply with safety standards.
