Red Tail Residential is seeking a skilled Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across our multi-family communities in Countryside, Hinsdale, and Clarendon, IL. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs to ensure safe, high-quality homes for residents.

The role requires a minimum 2 years in maintenance with basic computer skills and familiarity with property management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician with multifamily experience preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting trades.
• High school diploma or equivalent; EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common areas and storage spaces.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance for multi-family housing communities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. You’ll ensure safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to residents and team members.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and occasional climbing.
