Job summary

Clopay Corporation in Troy, Ohio is seeking a Director of Maintenance to oversee maintenance across multiple sites in a 24/7 operation. You will manage maintenance programs, preventative maintenance, capital projects, MRO sourcing, and the eMaint CMMS system while supervising a team of skilled technicians.

You will drive safety, plant efficiency, and cost control, develop budgets and KPIs, and collaborate with engineering, EH&S, and operations to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical or engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a large manufacturing operation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, problem solving, and strategic planning.
• Experience with hydraulics, PLCs, robotics, and automation.
• Understanding of HVAC and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and competent maintenance response to production equipment and facility issues.
• Develop, refine, and manage annual budgets and KPIs.
• Write Capital Expenditure Requests to support areas of responsibility.
• Develop and implement strategic leadership and vision for multiple sites.
• Implement and oversee TPM programs and preventative maintenance routines.
• Utilize data systems to drive OEE, labor efficiency and cost control.
