Job summary

CableCom, LLC is hiring an Inventory Specialist to manage materials and equipment across multiple yards, ensuring accurate records and organized storage. The role supports field crews with timely materials for fiber construction and network projects.

You will receive, label, and record items, track locations, and coordinate transfers between yards while leading year-end inventory activities with the CPA firm. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inventory, warehouse, or materials management.
• Experience with inventory across multiple locations is preferred.
• Experience using an inventory management system or ERP.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label and record incoming materials and equipment.
• Track inventory quantities and locations across multiple yards.
• Issue materials to crews and projects, documenting transfers, returns, and usage.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and coordinate physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Organize yard storage to support efficient picking and safe handling.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to purchasing and operations.
• Coordinate material transfers between yards and plan deliveries to job sites.
• Identify damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend actions.
• Lead Year End Inventory Audit with CPA Firm.
