Job summary

DuPont seeks an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to lead site medical operations across Valley View, Stow and Copley facilities in the greater Cleveland area. As an RN with 5+ years of experience, you’ll manage on-site care, testing, wellness programs, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll coordinate with physicians, oversee health surveillance, and support workforce safety with hands-on care, after-hours coverage, and documentation in the EMR (Cority preferred).

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio.
• 5+ years RN experience; 3+ years in an industrial/plant setting preferred.
• Nursing degree with working knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and occupational health requirements.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment on physician consultations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead site medical operations — manage day-to-day medical department activities, budget coordination, facility and supply maintenance, and scheduling of the offsite contract physician as needed.
• Deliver hands-on care — provide first aid for minor injuries and determine when physician treatment is needed.
• Administer care under physician direction — administer emergency medications and immunizations within scope.
• Champion employee wellness — act as a health coach and educate employees on health topics.
• Coordinate medical testing (vision, hearing, spirometry) for clearances and early-detection programs.
• Manage health surveillance — coordinate pre-assignment health assessments and routine surveillance.
• Oversee case management — document early reports of pain, assess fitness for duty, and support disability processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and related regulations.
• Coordinate injury/illness care with external providers; support safe workplace initiatives.
• Provide after-hours clinical call coverage and on-site support when needed.
