Job summary

DuPont in Ohio seeks an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to lead on-site medical operations across Valley View, Stow, and Copley facilities, serving about 245 employees. As the on-site RN, you’ll deliver care, manage the health program, and coordinate with contract physicians to keep people safe and productive.

You’ll champion wellness, conduct routine health assessments, oversee surveillance, and ensure OSHA compliance while maintaining medical records in Cority.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience; 3+ years in industrial/plant setting preferred.
• Nursing degree with working knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and applicable health regulations.
• Ability to work independently with physician oversight as needed.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site medical operations—manage daily activities, budget, facilities, and off-site physician scheduling.
• Deliver hands-on care for minor injuries and assess when further treatment is needed.
• Administer care under physician direction, including emergency medications and immunizations.
• Champion employee wellness and act as health coach for better lifestyle choices.
• Conduct medical testing (vision, hearing, spirometry) for clearances and referrals.
• Coordinate pre-assignment health assessments and surveillance with the site physician.
• Oversee case management—document pain reports, assess fitness for duty, support disability processes.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and HIS standards.
