Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a supply chain field.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial engineering; multi-site experience or ownership of major project management preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles including process mapping, time study, motion study, value stream mapping, and SPC.
• Proven experience leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Slotting optimization management: develop end-to-end slotting strategies for distribution centers and optimize labor productivity.
• Performance analysis: analyze processes, material flow, and resource use to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
• Process improvement: lead Kaizen events and lean projects to drive standardization and continuous improvement across sites.
• Project management: manage multiple projects with plans, progress tracking, and stakeholder updates.
• Standardization: create and disseminate standardized work instructions and best practices across the network.
• Facility layout and design: contribute to layouts using CAD/simulation tools to improve flow and reduce waste.
• Data analysis: collect and interpret operational data to identify trends and track KPIs via PDCA cycles.
• Cost reduction: develop cost-benefit analyses for improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• Training and development: train site personnel on IE principles and lean techniques.
