Job summary

The Industrial Engineer at L'Oréal will optimize operational efficiency across multiple distribution facilities. You will analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives to drive cost reductions, improve quality, and enhance performance.

You will apply lean and Six Sigma methods, manage projects from start to finish, standardize work across sites, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lasting improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a supply chain related field.
• 1–3 years in industrial engineering; multi-site experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of process mapping, time study, motion study, value stream mapping, and SPC.
• Proven experience leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent project management and multi-project handling skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Slotting optimization management across distribution centers to streamline warehouse flow and labor productivity.
• Performance analysis of processes, material flow, and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using lean/Six Sigma and kaizen events.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion within time and budget constraints.
• Develop standardized work instructions and best practices across sites; facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to facility layout and design to improve material flow; collaborate with CAD tools.
• Collect and analyze operational data to track KPIs and progress via PDCA.
