Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an HR Representative for multiple sites in Minnesota and Wisconsin, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and policy compliance. The role supports three facilities and partners with plant leadership to optimize HR operations.

The position requires strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills, with 1–2 years HR experience preferred. 50% onsite travel between Minneapolis, Golden Valley, and Marshfield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• 1–2 years HR experience, preferably in recruiting, onboarding, or HR administration.
• Manufacturing and/or union environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, and interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies, including I-9 verification.
• Serve as a resource on HR policies and programs.
