Job summary

Master Maintenance is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support three Grand Rapids-area properties, including Belmont and Sparta, MI. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and preventive maintenance, with on-call duties and safety compliance as priorities.

You will work under the Chief Engineer and collaborate with the operations team to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in hotel or residential building environment.
• 3 years’ experience as maintenance technician.
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain three properties in Grand Rapids, Belmont, and Sparta, MI, with on-call duties.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond to work orders and guest concerns promptly.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems daily/weekly.
• Inspect facilities for safety and compliance.
• Assist in emergencies as required by leadership.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
