Job summary

Valley Perinatal Services is seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing for medical, office, and capital supplies across multiple clinic locations. You will build vendor relationships, negotiate terms, monitor inventory, and align procurement with clinical and financial goals.

This role requires strong negotiation, data analysis, and ERP experience, along with adherence to regulatory guidelines and centralized purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Full-cycle procurement management across multiple sites.
• Strong negotiation skills securing favorable terms and pricing.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory controls, and par-level management.
• Ability to analyze purchasing data to support decision-making.
• Vendor relationship management and contract renewals or RFP processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage procurement for medical supplies, office equipment, pharmaceuticals, lab services, and facility items across all locations.
• Execute purchase orders and requisitions per policy and budgets.
• Source vendors, request quotes, evaluate bids, negotiate pricing/terms/delivery.
• Maintain centralized purchasing system aligned with supply chain workflows.
• Establish vendor relationships to optimize service, delivery, and cost.
• Evaluate vendor performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with GPO contracts where applicable.
• Track contracts, renewal dates, and renegotiation/RFP processes.
