Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Safety Manager to develop and execute safety policies across Cura-Hospitality accounts nationwide. You will drive a positive safety culture, assess risks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and food safety standards.

The role involves training, incident investigations, and collaboration with operations to strengthen safety performance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, multisite safety experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, or Environmental Health & Safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Experience in a safety managerial role, preferably in catering/food service.
• Multi-site experience and ability to manage within budget constraints.
• Willingness to pursue food safety qualifications and additional training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient with Windows-based office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies to drive a positive safety culture.
• Learn and apply workplace safety protocols, with growth in food safety.
• Create safety processes and plans aligned with industry best practices and regulations.
• Prepare safety trainings and presentations.
• Collaborate with segment leaders to deliver safety excellence.
• Support crisis management and incident investigations.
• Coordinate OSHA and food safety responses and audits.
• Identify cost-effective safety improvements and risk controls.
• Report on safety metrics and program effectiveness.
• Attend meetings to support safety implementation across operations.
• Coordinate with purchasing to source safety equipment.
• Contribute to safety RFPs and new contract mobilization.
• Support safety accreditation processes and coaching.
