Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Finance Operations specialist to manage day-to-day financial administration, vendor payments, and reconciliations across multiple sites. You will collaborate with AP, Procurement, and finance teams to maintain accurate records and ensure policy adherence.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and the ability to manage several priorities under pressure while supporting month-end close and audits.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in finance operations, billing, or reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Experience supporting finance workflows in multi-stakeholder environments.
• High attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-site setup.
• Prior exposure to AP and/or Procurement functions is a plus.
• Hands-on ERP/financial systems experience (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication across finance, AP, and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day financial administration and operations support.
• Manage PO follow-up and tracking through to resolution.
• Process and coordinate vendor payments.
• Prepare and maintain financial documents and agreements.
• Support budgeting activities and capitalization-related processes.
• Work with Accounts Payable and Procurement across stakeholders and systems.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to operational finance.
• Process, code, and reconcile invoices against POs and receipts.
• Support vendor onboarding and maintenance of vendor records.
• Review and process expense reports for compliance with policy.
• Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis requests.
• Support internal and external audit requests with documentation and data pulls.
• Identify and help resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
