The YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager in Wyandotte County to oversee day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and vendor coordination at multiple facilities in the Kansas City area. You will manage schedules, budgets, repairs, and emergency maintenance to keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for families and youth.

The role may require travel between Providence YMCA / Ball Family Center (KS) and Bonner Springs YMCA, with evening

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of successful work experience in facility maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, housekeeping, pool maintenance, painting, etc).
• Knowledge of OSHA work regulations.
• Able to manage and monitor department budgets.
• Able to relate and work with diverse groups in a friendly and consistent manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must conduct duties in a professional and responsible manner.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per YMCA standards.

Responsabilités

• Assess equipment and maintenance needs and set schedules to complete projects on time.
• Perform or supervise maintenance activities at assigned locations.
• Execute routine and preventative maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Conduct safety audits; identify and report problems promptly.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA work regulations.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• May supervise custodial services and direct reports in duties.
• Purchase maintenance and housekeeping supplies.
• Manage contracts for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Maintain the work order system accurately and timely.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and concerns.
• Schedule may include evenings and weekends.
• Assist in developing and overseeing annual property budget for maintenance and repairs.
• Support long-range major repair plans with budget costs.
• Assist with maintenance projects across the Association as needed.
• Provide support to other facilities in absence of the Property Manager.
• Support YMCA fundraising activities and departmental campaigns.
