Job summary

Bank of Springfield is seeking a Building Services Specialist to maintain the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities across multiple locations. This hands-on role requires dependability, detail orientation, and extensive maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and snow removal.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools is required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no violations in the past five years).
• Ability to pass background and security checks and lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, heating, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Prioritize and manage multiple maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain records for BOS equipment using basic programs (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
• Purchase parts and supplies and maintain tool/material inventory.
• Perform grounds maintenance and assist with environmental/facility tasks.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and travel to all BOS branch locations as needed.
