Job summary

Gifthealth seeks an experienced EHS Manager to develop and sustain environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple facilities. You will lead audits, incident investigations, training, and regulatory compliance to embed safety as a daily value.

You will partner with site leadership and operations to ensure regulatory readiness, track safety metrics, and manage PPE, chemical inventories, and permits across sites. This role requires travel between sites and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an EHS role with at least 2 years across multiple sites.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and EPA/state environmental regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for regulatory docs and reports.
• Ability to travel between Gifthealth sites.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and emergency response activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures across all sites.
• Conduct regular site audits, walk-throughs, and hazard assessments; drive corrective actions.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations with root cause analysis; document and track actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local requirements; maintain logs/reports (OSHA 300/300A).
• Develop and deliver safety training programs; ensure completion across locations and shifts.
• Serve as primary contact during regulatory inspections, audits, and insurance reviews.
• Maintain emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis protocols.
• Collaborate with site managers, operations, HR, and facilities to embed EHS in daily workflows.
• Track leading/lagging safety indicators; use data to guide investments and improvements.
• Manage PPE programs, chemical inventories, hazardous waste disposal, and permits.
