Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital seeks an experienced Echo/Vascular Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams across multiple Utah locations. Qualifications

• AR DMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Must meet Echo/Vascular Tech II qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Prepare for the exam by identifying patients and educating patient and family.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and other caregivers.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area; rotate locations as needed.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
