Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technologist II to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician supervision. The role covers multiple sites across Utah County and Wasatch Back with rotating work location and a 36-hour workweek on 4x9 or 3x12 schedules.

Candidates should hold ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography and BLS. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physician offices, other caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for the exam by following patient identification processes and educating patient and family.
• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with related protocols and in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and other required information; apply correct charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and work area; coordinate repairs or supply needs.
