Job summary

Intermountain Health in St George, Utah, seeks a PRN Echo Vascular Sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction at St George Regional Hospital.

Qualifications

• Eligible to sit for ARDMS/CCI boards within one year of hire.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Graduate of accredited or certificate program.
• Completion of Intermountain Adult Echocardiography Program upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, and patients.
• Document results and maintain exam records with appropriate codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and techniques.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and educational opportunities.
