Job summary

ADM is seeking a Corn Wet Milling Technology Manager to lead engineering teams across Decatur, IL; Clinton, IA; and Cedar Rapids, IA. The role drives process optimization, debottlenecking, and deployment of new technologies to improve yield, energy and water metrics while maintaining safety and cost discipline.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in corn wet milling or related systems, with strong capability in process analytics, cross-functional leadership, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biochemical/industrial engineering discipline or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corn wet milling, starch manufacturing, sweetener production, or related corn processing operations.
• Strong background in process engineering, manufacturing support, operations leadership, or process technology management.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology leadership to optimize corn wet milling operations and co-product recovery across multiple sites.
• Standardize best practices across sites to improve yield, energy, water usage, and reliability.
• Lead projects in debottlenecking, process optimization, and technology deployment.
• Mentor engineers and plant teams in wet milling technology and analytics.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Support sustainability initiatives including water reduction and energy optimization.
