Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple retail facility projects within the assigned territory, including PA and MD, with travel as required. Must maintain onsite presence and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

Ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent in construction management/engineering, 1–3 years of experience in fixturing and construction, and strong communication and budgeting

Qualifications

• Requires AS/AAS/AA or vocational cert in construction management/engineering/architecture or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' experience in design, fixturing, and construction of retail facilities.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and be primary contact for scope, budget, design and construction for the life of the project.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal teams and external parties.
• Monitor budget tracking and scheduling reports for management.
• Develop and manage project scopes and budgets to meet objectives.
• Solicit change orders and negotiate with vendors to maximize value for the company.
