Job summary

PBS Facility Service is seeking a Concierge & Front Desk Operations Manager to oversee doormen and concierge staff across multiple luxury properties in the tri-state area. You will ensure service quality, adherence to PBS standards, and professional conduct across sites.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, coach teams, and manage schedules while maintaining client satisfaction and operational excellence at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse front desk team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and follow-through in a multi-site setting.
• Calm and resourceful under pressure with quick decision-making.
• Experience with scheduling and HR systems is preferred.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role in hospitality/building services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate doormen and concierge staff across multiple properties.
• Create and manage biweekly schedules; monitor attendance and emergencies.
• Train new hires and refresh staff on PBS standards and SOPs.
• Foster strong relationships with property managers, supers, and residents.
• Review shift reports, incidents, and CCTV—elevate issues appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to Local 32BJ contracts, prevailing wage rules, and PBS policies.
• Maintain records using PBS digital scheduling and reporting platforms.
• Perform building walkthroughs to ensure lobby standards and guest interactions meet PBS expectations.
