Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research seeks a Manager of Clinical Operations to lead the clinical staff and oversee on-site activities, ensuring execution per ICH, GCP, and FDA guidelines. You will drive study performance, assign resources, monitor timelines, and collaborate with departments to meet milestones and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with clinical research experience and management preference; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of clinical research experience required.
• 1+ year of management experience in clinical research highly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, email, EHR, web apps, and 40+ wpm typing.
• Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall team management with focus on study performance, efficiency, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with departments to meet study milestones, budgets, and sponsor data delivery.
• Review dashboards and systems to oversee site activities and ensure timely data updates.
• Oversee resourcing, site assignments, and team output; identify risks and escalate.
• Assist with training on CRFs, SOPs, clinical plans, and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA regulations, and company policies.
• Manage site staff and develop corrective actions where needed.
• Handle staffing, hiring, and employee development activities.
• Collaborate with investigators to ensure patient safety and timelines.
• Propose risk mitigations and participate in management meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
