Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance role in the Cincinnati metro area. You will conduct maintenance across up to 15 locations and perform light construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.

Responsibilities include small appliance troubleshooting, exterior space upkeep, and managing vendor relationships. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in facilities with strong communication and customer-service skills, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facilities experience
• Proficient in facilities disciplines and total site responsibilities
• Budget-minded and customer service oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Willingness to increase knowledge and stay up to date on new processes
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal hours
• Proficiency in functional written and oral English is required

Responsibilities

• Total site(s) maintenance and management of up to 15 locations
• Light construction and maintenance: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, pest control, and repairs
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management, including playgrounds
• Work order management system for internal requests
• Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and manage their performance
• Monitor contractual obligations
• Support centers through audits, regulatory visits, and fleet compliance
