Job summary

Follett Corporation, headquartered in Coral Gables, FL, seeks a Campus Store Director to lead a large multi-site college bookstore, manage budgets, staff, and operations, and drive profitable sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will oversee promotions, inventory, and campus relations with faculty and administrators, implementing Follett systems and staying aligned with company policies and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of big box, multi-unit retail management experience; academic retail experience a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen; advanced relationship building; demonstrated ability to influence a team and customer outreach.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full-cycle talent management, including recruiting, training, coaching, and talent development.
• Prepares and implements detailed plans for each department including schedules, budgets, and floor plans.
• Analyzes data to determine store performance and maintains profitability; oversees budget and inventory metrics.
• Ensures security of assets and adherence to company policies; interfaces with faculty and administrators.
• Oversees course materials department to ensure order quantities and customer service.
• Maintains a culture focusing on solutions-based selling and exceptional customer experience.
