DFI Resources is seeking a Facilities OT Engineer to oversee the building management system infrastructure across a multi-property portfolio in Austin, TX. The role ensures secure, stable, and consistent performance of operational technology networks and controllers, with a focus on architecture optimization and standardization.

You will partner with Facilities, leadership, and vendors to implement OT initiatives, address issues, and maintain high reliability in a private estate/hospitality-like

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in building automation engineering or OT network design in multi-site environments.
• Advanced knowledge of building automation and industrial communication frameworks and protocols.
• Familiarity with major automation platforms such as Tridium Niagara N4 or Distech ECLYPSE and associated protocols.

Responsabilités

• Oversee OT network architecture design, topology, and mapping across sites ensuring secure communication between field controllers and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot network bottlenecks, IP addressing, VLANs, and gateway performance across all sites to maintain stable operations.
• Tune controller polling, point mapping, and parameters to reduce traffic and latency while maintaining real-time throughput.
