Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks a facilities technician to maintain and repair site systems, including FMCS and BAS automation. The role covers PMs, predictive and RC M maintenance across HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and piping disciplines.

You will coordinate with I&C teams, vendors, and site leadership to ensure reliability and safety. The position requires an electrical license, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work off-hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Current state electrical license required.
• Ability to calibrate and maintain PME equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting across disciplines.
• Maintain procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to interact with multiple teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot site facilities systems.
• Perform preventative, predictive and RC M maintenance on facilities systems.
• Support commissioning, startup and vendor coordination.
• Maintain calibration databases and SOPs.
• Respond to site emergencies after hours and on weekends.
