Parsons in California seeks a Sr. Technical Specialist with extensive Building Management Systems (BMS) experience to support and optimize critical building automation and OT environments. Must currently reside in California.

The role focuses on Windows Server, networking, PowerShell, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and OT teams to ensure secure, reliable operations across facilities and large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize building systems using BMS to ensure efficiency and comfort.
Provide advanced tech support for building automation systems including HVAC, lighting, and power management.
Support large-scale Windows Server environments and IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with PMs and SMEs to validate system builds and deployments.
Develop and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts.
Troubleshoot Windows OS including registries, permissions, services, and performance.
Apply networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, SMB, SSL/TLS) during setup and resolution.
Coordinate OS and infrastructure-related projects deployment.
Conduct security patching for Windows systems and address compatibility issues.
Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve system-specific issues.
Lead or support OT internal audit activities.
Collaborate with IT Support to maintain secure operations.
Design and implement scalable technical solutions for business and operations.
Manage multiple issues and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
