Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Behavioral Aide - Floater in Tracy, California, for the 26/27 School Year pay range $21.00-$23.00 per hour. The role supports IEPs and BIPs, provides instructional assistance to students with behavioral or special needs, and travels between multiple school sites within the region.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid drivers license, background clearances, CPR/Pro-ACT/CPI certification, and 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Clearance and TB Clearance.
• 1 years of experience working with students with behavioral or special needs.
• Pro-ACT, CPI, and/or CPR certification.
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide instructional assistance tailored to student needs (paraprofessional/instructional aide).
• Travel to multiple school sites (30+ miles one-way) within the region.
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and CPI strategies.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, transportation and breaks.
• Facilitate recreational and educational activities.
• Model and reinforce positive behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Record and maintain daily data on behavior, progress and incidents.
• Communicate with supervisors, teachers and staff regarding student needs.
