Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking a Multi-Sector Estimator to join our Austin team. This role collaborates with architects, clients, and operations to price bids and negotiated proposals across diverse project types.

You will lead cost data gathering, build trade partner networks, and use advanced estimating tools to deliver accurate, timely estimates that support budgets and schedules.

Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years experience; strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management or related field.
• 5–8 years estimating experience across multiple scopes.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and trade sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and take-offs; prepare quantity take-offs for assigned scopes.
• Analyze bids for alignment with specifications, material quality, pricing, schedule, insurance, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve scope questions and gaps before bid submission.
• Develop scope-specific bid packages and inclusion checklists for subcontractors.
• Use estimating software to calculate, record, and manage estimates with accuracy.
• Maintain and improve a centralized historical cost database.
