Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking a Multi-Sector Estimator to prepare accurate construction estimates across diverse project types. The role collaborates with architects, clients, and operations to ensure design intent and budgets align.

You will lead bid pricing, gather data from subcontractors, and develop trade partner networks for current and upcoming projects. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5–7 years of estimating experience across varied scopes and sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems, and trade sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for assigned scopes.
• Analyze bids for alignment with specs, materials, pricing, schedule, and compliance.
• Resolve questions with subcontractors to clarify scope gaps or overlaps.
• Develop scope-specific bid packages and inclusion checklists for subcontractors.
• Maintain and improve a centralized historical cost database for future estimates.
• Monitor cost trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
