Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when RSRs are unavailable. You’ll learn multiple routes, safely load and transport garments, and ensure timely service.

Strong customer service and the ability to adapt to varying schedules are essential. You’ll also help with invoices, inventories, and vehicle safety while collaborating with the Service and Management Teams to support new accounts and upsell where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance required, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfort with learning new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer details for top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers on established routes, collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with Service and Management Teams to support new account installations and rerouting efforts; upsell when appropriate.
• Communicate feedback and potential solutions to location leadership, monitor local competitor activity.
