Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Processing Relief Operator to support department operations by relieving Processing Operators during breaks and absences. You may need to learn all processing roles and cover as directed by the Lead or Supervisor.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and the ability to train new operators while ensuring SOPs are followed across the department. This full-time position offers paid time off, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months in a production environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate including data entry capabilities.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner, following all required policies and procedures.
• Obtain direction of the job functions you may be handling throughout the shift from the Processing Lead & Supervisor.
• Provide relief for all breaks, call-ins and scheduled vacations in any needed position throughout the department.
• Perform other related job duties as requested when not covering as relief.
• Acquire and maintain a license to receive milk, provide coverage in Milk Receiving as needed.
• Work in compliance with federal, state, and company GMPs.
• Fill in for any processing job function in the department when required.
• Assist in creating, editing, and standardizing job procedures.
• Assist in training & developing new operators, ensuring SOPs are followed.
• Complete all required paperwork with legible handwriting.
• Maintain communication with Processing Lead & Supervisor throughout the shift.
