Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Machine Operator to support single or multi-serve production with various equipment. The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and timely communication across departments to maintain output.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a wet environment with overtime flexibility. Prior food/beverage experience is a plus; GMPs and pre-employment screens are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1–2 years related experience or training.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and basic math for measurements.
• Must obtain and maintain a Pallet Jack Certification.
• Experience in food/beverage industry preferred.
• Work in a wet environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Flexible hours including overtime.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication.
• Adhere to GMPs and pass pre-employment screens.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multiple machines in the production line (Loader/Unloader, Depalletizer, Sleever, Case Packer).
• Ensure safety and operation per SOPs; start up and shut down equipment.
• Perform lab tests and monitor weight control of products.
• Keep equipment and environment sanitary; disassemble/reassemble for cleaning.
• Communicate production status to neighboring departments.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate to reduce downtime.
• Stock machine with packaging materials using pallet jack.
• Perform other production duties as assigned.
