Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular procedures with minimal supervision. You will ensure high-quality imaging for neonatal to geriatric patients and collaborate with a supportive team.

The role covers OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, neurological and limited vascular exams, requires RDMS or ARRT certification, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equitable on the job training is required.
• RDMS or ARRT (S) registered.
• Two years of experience required.
• RDMS registration alternatives: RDMS (AB) within six months; RDMS (RVT), CCI (RVS) or ARRT (VS) acceptable for vascular certification.
• RDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) acceptable for echocardiography specialties.
• OB/GYN; Abdominal and Small parts experience is required.
• Neurological and limited vascular experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality Ultrasound Services including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Small parts, Neurological, and limited vascular exams.
• Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Ultrasound department.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctioning devices.
• Transport patients as needed.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As the multi- registered Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound and non-invasive vascular procedures at a technical level, which does not require constant supervision and assume the responsibility for designated procedures as required. You will ensure the highest degree of quality performance and patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients according to their physical needs and limitations.
