Job summary

Hulsing Hotels seeks an experienced Complex Director of Maintenance to lead facilities, engineering, and grounds across a resort, a downtown hotel, and a racquet club in the Asheville area. Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive facilities or maintenance management experience, with multi-property responsibility.
• Experience in hotel, resort, club, or luxury hospitality facility management preferred.
• Proven track record with capital improvement projects, vendor relationships, and multi-site maintenance on budget and on schedule.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, life safety, mechanical).
• Strong financial acumen to develop, manage, and analyze budgets and capital expenditure plans.

Responsibilities

• Multi-property facilities oversight: lead maintenance, engineering, and grounds across all properties in the complex.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and retain skilled maintenance staff across properties.
• Lead planning and execution of capital improvement projects and facility upgrades.
• Manage annual maintenance budgets and multi-year capital plans.
• Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and brand standards; drive energy management.
