Job summary

Valor is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Mississippi to drive revenue across a multi-property portfolio. You will own production goals, manage key accounts, and cross-sell opportunities across hotels while maintaining strong relationships with general managers and local partners.

You’ll collaborate with hotel leadership, Revenue Management and operations to optimize pricing, present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of hotel sales or closely related hospitality sales experience preferred.
• Multi-property, branded-hotel, group or business transient sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the assigned production goals, sales activity targets and account plans for assigned hotels, with visibility into results by property.
• Develop and execute distinct sales strategies for each hotel while cross-selling across the portfolio.
• Prospect, solicit and close new business through outbound calls, in-person sales, networking, referrals, site inspections and events.
• Represent each hotel’s brand standards and value proposition to clients and partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns and sales collateral to support commercial priorities.
