Windsor Hospitality in Walnut Creek is seeking a dual-property Complex Controller to serve as the financial backbone across hotels. You will oversee monthly financials, payroll, audits, and tax compliance while leading a small finance team.

responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, AR/AP, treasury, internal controls, and collaboration with leadership to boost financial performance across properties. Strong hotel accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
• Minimum of five years progressive accounting experience, including hotel operations knowledge
• Knowledge of GAAP, USALI and hotel P&L structures
• Experience with general accounting systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and explanations for variances.
• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and posting corrections.
• Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting with historical data and results.
• Oversee A/R, A/P, payroll, cash handling, credit/collections and treasury functions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate audits and manage insurance requirements, licenses, and permits.
• Assist with tax reporting and reconcile tax liability accounts.
• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop Finance team members; partner with leadership to improve performance.
