John M. Corcoran & Company seeks a skilled Horticulturist to support its New England multi-property portfolio. You’ll prune, plant, manage irrigation, and oversee lawn care across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.

The role emphasizes autonomy, safety with power equipment, and the ability to coordinate with contractors. A strong horticulture background and an associate degree or certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in Horticulture (or equivalent field experience) required.
• Strong knowledge of soil, plant health, and seasonal timing.

Responsibilities

• Planting, pruning, and maintaining shrubs, trees, flowers, and lawn areas across properties.
• Managing irrigation systems and fertilization schedules.
• Operating power equipment including mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and leaf blowers safely.
• Setting railroad ties and supporting hardscape maintenance.
• Coordinating with outside landscaping contractors and suppliers.
• Supporting snow and ice management and responding to emergency storm situations as needed.
• Assisting with truck deliveries when requested.
